Carol Atemi Makes Me Happy!
Carol Atemi was in a girl group called Intu with Natasha Gatabaki, the two really put out some heat back in the day. However I knew Carol because she used to live in South B and we would bum on mathree’s together but rarely talked.
I found her a little of a much know – or a snob, maybe it was the MSO thing, but quite frankly in the 90′s I couldn’t tell she could blow (sing her heart out).
But regardless of what I think of her as a person, I think this track produced by TIM (Innovator formerly of Samawati productions) really was a soul shacker in Kenya.
She reminds me of Mercy Myra……she sings effortlessly…real talent.
umm I was in pango with her not mso and yes she was a snob and a pain to be with. at USIU she used to be a drama queen and used to be called ALL EYES ON ME. Just wanted to be noticed but as much as I dont like her as a person, I love her music, she could sing then and she can still sing and good luck to her
