Honestly when DJ Kelz sent me this track from the Jomino camp I was like aight aight here comes some interesting collabo between Razy and Bongo artist Kizob. I really didn’t think much about the track itself I was more interested in who Kizob is… It seems Tanzania is churning out a new artist every month, so to me this collabo sits on the fence simply because I don’t know who Kizob is, but that’s not an excuse.

I think the track is not balanced – am not sure who is carrying the beat better Kenrazy or Kizob, overall I cant see this track living outside this blog. I will be surprised if this song has blown up or if it will blow up to be compared to Tichi standards. Kicheche is a lose lose chile – its Tanzanian slang that has sipped its way into Sheng and ive heard a few people talking about Kicheche here and there. That said though my personal opinion is that this track is still wanting – missing something. I am also concerned about Jomino – the beats sound too similar, the fruits not falling so far from the tree with these signature beats. Can Jomino reinvent himself? Can something different come out of that kitchen? I dont know but i find the whole beat mapping thing too similar in all Jomino tracks.

Either way enjoy the track here:

Leo, Dona beats you on this. He has featuered “Si Kicheche” on his Ishike mixtape released in August last year. For information, Kizo B is a new artist from Tz and has been doing concerts here in Kenya He has a two new tracks called “Ulinibeep” and “Mama We” which are hitting airwaves here in Kenya as we speak. I spoke to him this past weekend and he had just performed in Mombasa during the launch of JI’s new album that features the track “Kidato Kimoja”. He is also working on a collabo with Pilipili. Kizo B is an artist to watch out for!

Comments on this topic should definitely be interesting LOL, but anyway, people still love Jomino though.

Best Razy tune for me still is Rudia (which mods the download is not working)

Jomino are getting too monotonous now. The ‘rudia ‘ beats have been applied to this track and tweaked a lil bit. You don’t have to be a fl studio nerd to know that. diversity is the key to the industry. Rudia is a nice track. my favourite from them. but eeiisshhh….plus the clarity of the beat isn’t that good. there’s always some sort of noise that makes me wanna reduce the bass on my system. and I use bose. so…..I don’t know.positive criticism here. sijakunya HATERADE!!!

the last track from jomino LEO posted here i said that jomino is not being diverse and i was called a hater, now i see people are saying the samething. the fact is rudia and banjuka are the best tracks to come out of jomino but they have seriously failed in re-inventing themselves, they actually risk being irrelevant in the market if they dont start being dynamic. nways i have not yet lost hope on jomino.

I think Jomino are on point. Every1 has an opinion and i respect that but u should do your homework. Kenrazy and a new Jomino prodigy called V6 have released a hot track Ashu kwa Ashu meaning 10/10 in sheng. The beat is sure to keep u on your feet and has excellent lyrical delivery by both artists. Kaya has also released a banging feel good track called More Kaya which is also making waves. They are both different from the previous beats and show that Jomino is diversifing and will always be relevant.
