When I first got this record, I thought it as one of the same old “My African Girl”, “My African” records that I cannot stand. My gal really surprised me a lot.
Although numerous records have are out there about “My Girl/Man” Prezzo gives his own spin on the subject matter making his first single from Prezzo’s 2014 album Rapcellency a great record. I really like the fact the Prezzo raps in a mixture of English and Swahili which makes the record more authentic.
My Girl is a solid effort from Prezzo. production was done by Homeboy records.
